Towbar electrics are based on two types, Universal and Vehicle Specific.
Universal Electrics can be fitted to most vehicles using a bypass relay which isn't connected to the vehicles canbus system. It is a cost effective way of installing and there is no coding required, However safety features on modern vehicles will not be activated.
Vehicle Specific kits connect to the vehicles canbus and are manufacturer approved, they often require vehicle coding to integrate fully and activate essential safety features on your vehicle.
We will always advise you on the best options for your vehicle.
We can provide you with a Repair service if you have faulty wiring or electrical systems fitted on your vehicles Towbar. We will always diagnose before giving out a quotation to replace or repair. If you have new wiring installed by us we do give warranty and this will be explained upon quotation.
